Avaldsnes IL was one of 63 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Pizzabakeren Regy Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Gutter 15.

In addition to Avaldsnes IL, 15 other teams played in Gutter 15. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Avaldsnes IL G 15 could be found in Group D together with Sædalen Idrettslag, Varhaug IL G15 and Olsvik IL Olsvik/Kjøkkelvik G2008.

Avaldsnes IL G 15 continued to Slutspill A after reaching 2:nd place in Group D. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Åsane Fotball G 15-2 with 5-6. In the Final, Oltedal FK won over Åsane Fotball G 15-2 and became the winner of Slutspill A in Gutter 15.

Avaldsnes IL also participated in Gutter 14 during Pizzabakeren Regy Cup 2022. They won Slutspill B, after beating Stavanger IF Fotball SIF 2 in the final with 4-3.

Avaldsnes comes from Avaldsnes which lies approximately 4 km from Haugesund, where Pizzabakeren Regy Cup takes place. The area around Avaldsnes does also provide 12 additional clubs participating during Pizzabakeren Regy Cup 2023 (Among others: Bømlo IL, Rennesøy Fotballklubb, Sportsklubben Vard Haugesund, Kopervik IL, Sveio IL, Skjoldar, IL, Haugar, SK, Stegaberg IL, Skjold IL - fotball and Torvastad IL).
